As the popularity of wireless became a must for hotels, rv parks and motels around the country, Days Inn of Petoskey addressed the problem like many others and utilized off the shelf product to provide wireless internet to guests.   David McKay, Days Inn Gen Manager said,”Designing a wireless network based on claims that are made on the box will quickly set you up for failure.  This approach caused us to buy more and more access points to solve the problem but in doing so created a larger problem of noise between the access points and a support nightmare.”  He added,” We discovered the Wifi-Plus MP antenna’s and were able to light up the entire two building hotel with just two access point radios.  This increased availability along with saving support time, cost and customers.  We were amazed at the difference an MP antenna made and have used the product for over a year with great success.”

NLOS (non line of sight) wireless design allows options and coverage’s that were not possible with other technologies.   Allowing rapid installation with out disruption to guests is a key benefit to the hotel, RV, Boater and restaurant community. Real world installations do not allow for Line of sight.  The wireless world is full of obstruction that has hindered the adoption of wireless services.
